Dear Physiotherapy Colleague,

Registration for 2017 SA Society of Physiotherapy membership will open on the 1 October 2016.

The SA Society of Physiotherapy has thus far had a very successful year due in large part to our new membership system and web page that was launched for 2016.
Online registration has facilitated an easier, faster and more accurate membership registration process.

Once registration has been completed, members have easy access to their own personal information, as well as to valuable and important information from the Society, other interesting Physio news and a myriad of other benefits.

If you are interested in joining a professional membership society representing the majority of physiotherapists in South Africa, please follow the easy instructions below:

New members (have NEVER been an SASP member, or were last a member in 2015)

• Go to ‘LOGIN’
• Chose ‘Register as New Member’ [If you had a membership number in or before 2015, you will now receive a new membership number]
• You will be asked your ID, Name, Surname, Email address (your own, not shared) and a Password (not less than 6 characters, must have a Capital letter, a number between 1-9 and a special character .e.g. @, #,!, %).

Started 2016 membership registration, but did not complete

If you started but did not complete your 2016 membership registration the society will soon be sending you an email to explain how to register for 2017. We are just finalizing the process.

• If you got as far as the T&C’s, but did NOT accept them, you still fall into this category.
• If you started the 2016 SASP membership registration process and accepted the T&C’s you are a debtor and will not be able to register for 2017 until your 2016 obligations have been met.

For more information or questions, please contact Carol, membership@saphysio.co.za or phone the SA Society of Physiotherapy Head Office on (011) 615 3170.

Updated membership categories, there benefits and costs will be available on our web site from the 1 October to assist you in making the correct choice for your SASP membership. You will find the information under the tag ‘MEMBERSHIP’ > ‘Principle Membership’.

We look forward you being part of the SASP family soon.

Kind regards,

SASP President
